Terms of Use
Effective October 2, 2026
Using this site
These terms apply to trainwatch.us, operated by Trainwatch LLC of Norman, Oklahoma. By using the site you agree to them; if you don't, please don't use it.
Information, estimates and previews
This site is for general information. Animations, scenarios and product previews are illustrative, and their times and events are simulated unless a source is cited. Calculator results are screening estimates, not engineering, legal or financial advice, and not a benefit-cost analysis.
Grant decisions are made by the awarding agency. Better data can strengthen an application, but Trainwatch doesn't guarantee any award.
Figures from public sources are linked so you can check them. Public data changes, and we may not update every page immediately.
Services and pricing
Pilots and other services are provided only under a written quote and your organization's purchase order or a signed agreement. Prices shown here are ranges; your written quote controls. If anything on this site conflicts with a signed agreement or purchase order, the signed document controls.
Content and trademarks
The site's design, text, graphics and animations belong to Trainwatch LLC. You're welcome to link to the site and quote it with attribution, but please don't copy it wholesale or use our name to imply endorsement. Names of agencies, railroads, universities and platforms belong to their owners; mentioning them doesn't mean they endorse Trainwatch, except where a relationship is stated.
Acceptable use
Don't try to disrupt the site, access it in ways that overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Links to other sites
We link to government and third-party sources. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Trainwatch isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site or relying on its estimates. This doesn't limit anything in a signed services agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Oklahoma law. Disputes about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Cleveland County, Oklahoma, unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the effective date when we do. Questions: drew@trainwatch.us · (214) 471-2988.
